Brown Line to the Loop.
In the summer I try to take the train as much as possible.
Since people are out more and there are many Cubs games, it's usually easier than driving. Especially now that parking meter rates have gone up. Honestly, who carries 3 dollars in quarters with them at all times?
Last night I used the train to head to The Playground for an All Skate show. We ended up having a great show, definitely one of our best. The team is starting to really gel and I think we have our new coach, George, to thank for that. Unfortunately he wasn't at the show last night, so he didn't get to see the work paying off.
After a quick drink, I raced home to catch the Messiest Home in the Country special on Style. It was hor-rif-ic. Spoiler Alert: There was so much stuff in this tiny house that they had to rent an
empty department store to have the yard sale. I watch the show on a regular basis, but this was the very first time I have seen someone have a room that was wall to wall, floor to ceiling, packed with clutter.
Here is the BEFORE of their basement:
(The picture doesn't really even do it justice, there was literally no where to move when they were in there.)

And here is the AFTER:

If you see that they are re-running this special (or any of the 6 runner up episodes), have a watch. It will give you a sudden urge to clean out your closet. At least, that's what I did.
